The story
Perched along the Benalmádena coast, La Mare is the result of chef Andrea Ferraro's fifteen-year journey through the kitchens of Genoa, Mykonos, and Valencia. Every plate is a postcard from a coastline he has lived on. The catch arrives at dawn, the bread is baked at noon, the wine list reads like a map of the sea.

Do I need a reservation at La Mare?
Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner, especially Thursday through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar. For the same day, call us directly on +34 951 234 567.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual. Jackets are not required, but beachwear is not appropriate at dinner service.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is fully vegetarian, and most antipasti can be adjusted. Please mention dietary needs when booking.
Is the restaurant accessible by wheelchair?
Yes. The main dining room and terrace are step-free. Please let us know in advance so we can seat you accordingly.
Can I host a private event at La Mare?
Yes. We host private dinners for up to 24 guests in our cellar room, and exclusive buyouts for the full restaurant. Contact [email protected].
Do you accept group reservations for 8 or more?
Yes. For groups of 8 or more we offer a fixed tasting menu at €75 per person with optional wine pairing at €45. Email us with your preferred date and party size.
Is there parking nearby?
The Puerto Marina underground car park is a 2-minute walk. The first 90 minutes are free with a validated ticket from our host.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. Gift vouchers from €50 to €500 are available at the host desk or by email. Vouchers do not expire.
